When we bought our house almost four years ago we had hopes of turning this small area of our basement into a bar for our kombucha kegerator.
We started by removing the bourbon barrel sink, then painted the walls and recruited Kim’s dad to rough-in the plumbing. Everything else we ended up outsourcing to a contractor.
To keep things as inexpensive as possible we purchased a stock cabinet from Lowe’s and a remnant piece of quartz for a countertop. We also found some old lumber at Kim’s dad’s pole barn to use for shelves. Btw, his pole barn is a pickers paradise. Guaranteed to have any weight machine from the 70’s, Harley Davidson, or boat part you could ever need.
